Division Basketball

2 weeks ago we played division basketball. We played 4 games against some really tough competition. We played at Nunawading, a really good court. We unfortunately won no games but still had a great time playing with all my friends who mostly don't play basketball so to even be in that position meant we did some great stuff. We did some awesome things like Daimon  and I hitting a few threes and Matthew hitting some crazy layups which made the day super fun and when we were losing we still had smiles across all our faces. Even when we were tens of points down we continued to fight and in one game came back to 4 points.

The division basketball was a blast. I reckon we did so good and we worked really hard to get to division. When we played the teams they were good, some of the games we could have won but it's hard for a team like us because we have a few basketballers and we were the only team in pool 1 with a mixed team but that didn't stop us from playing good. Thank you to coach Dave (Matthew’s dad) who encouraged us to do our best and Mrs Gosling who helped with scoring the points for our game. Some people would struggle like Stevie because Stevie had asthma and he would struggle to play but he still managed to play and help the team,another one was Remy. remy got hit in the eye with the ball and he had a 5 minute break to ease it down then Remy when on and kept playing and tried his best.
