We have included a few action shots for you to check out.
Last week the 3 /4 students started a 5 week

The students will also visit the First Nation Exhibition at the Bendigo Art Gallery.
Here are a few photos of our first session.
Our excursion to the Great Stupa of Universal Compassion and the Dragon City Museum next week will support our Inquiry on Cultural Diversity and acceptance of others differences. We are sure that the students will have a great day out.
LITERACY & NUMERCY
What about the work you may ask.
In literacy the students have been filling their literacy tool box with tools that will help make their writing more engagiing and fluent. They have been builing their teir 2 language and learning more about adjectives, action verbs, adverbs, sesnsory language and how to use similies metapors to create images in the readers mind. They have been working on sentence fluency and how important it is to vary sentence lengths and complexity and start them in different ways.
Over the last few weeks the students have written some amazing descriptions. Here are just a few.
In maths we have been reading, writing and reperesenting fractions, placing fractions on a numberline, finding fractions of a collection and idnentifying equivalence. Now we are looking at place value of large numbers and exploring decimals.
Hope you enjoyed looking at some of our work and some photos, fell free to drop in anytime.
