Principals Report

Term 4 has kicked off with an exciting flurry of events, showcasing the incredible talents of our students. We’ve already celebrated the Spring Concert, where our musicians delivered a wonderful evening of performances, followed by the impressive Art and Tech Show, highlighting the creativity and innovation within our student body.

Our Year 12 students also marked their final day with celebrations that brought the school community together, as they prepare for the next chapter in their lives. Additionally, we’ve seen our students participate in a variety of sporting events, proudly representing Belmont High.

Through all these activities, our students continue to embody the core values of our school—respect, resilience, and opportunity. Whether it’s in the classroom, on the stage, or out on the sports field, they consistently demonstrate these values in everything they do.

Thank you to everyone who has contributed to making this start to Term 4 such a success. I look forward to seeing even more achievements as the term progresses.

Students of the Month – September

At Belmont High School we will be celebrating our students who display excellent learning behaviours with a regular “Student of the Month” award. 

There will be one Student of the Month per year level, twice per term. 

Student reports will be used to create a shortlist for teachers to consider against the below criteria:

· Student shows exceptional application in class and overall effort towards their studies.

· Student has a positive attitude towards learning, their classes, and the school.

· Student is always ready to learn by being in correct uniform, having all required materials and rarely needs to leave class.

· Student may show some leadership qualities in the classroom.

· Student’s academic performance is very good OR they have shown great growth in this area over time.
