On Tuesday, Epping Views hosted 8 schools in the Year ¾ Soccer Gala Day held at Harvest Home Recreational Reserve. Our 4 teams all performed exceptionally well, with every team finishing in the top 3 or above.
The 28 EVPS students attending showed outstanding behaviour and sportsmanship throughout the day and had lots of fun, many playing against other schools for the first time.
A big thank you also to our dedicated and ever-present soccer coaches, Dean and James.
Well done to our 6 amazing Year 6 referees who did a great job of refereeing in often trying and hot conditions. And finally, a big thank you to Lucas D (6MK) and George S (6JE) who showed incredible standards in assisting operations and refereeing respectively.
EVPS teams finishing positions here:
Boys A 3rd
Girls A 3rd
Boys B 2nd
Girls B Winners!
After School Cricket Blast Program
EVPS 2-6’s were able to attend an afterschool program run by Cricket Victoria. The kids had a fantastic time playing games and doing fun activities. They also got to show off their colourful new tops and bucket hats!
Hot Shot Tennis Competition
On Friday October 11th, Epping Views Primary competed in the Bridge Inn South District Hot Shots Tennis Competition. A selection of 17 Students from Year 3-6 represented the school in a boys and girls team. It was a perfect day for competition. I would like to praise all students on the way they supported their team members throughout the day by helping them referee and score. Congratulations to the girls team who won many individual and doubles games throughout the day. The boy’s team did a brilliant job in a very close final to finish first place and now move onto the next stage of the competition.
We wish them all the luck next week!
