Faith Matters

Dear St Francis Xavier Families,

This weekend, nine of our Year 6 students will receive the Sacrament of Confirmation.  In this sacrament, a baptised person is 'sealed with the Gift of the Holy Spirit'. They are strengthened to follow the teachings of Christ through their words and actions. The Year 5/6s have been learning about this during their faith sessions with a particular focus on personal values and talents and how they can use theirs to contribute positively to our community.

We wish all our candidates the very best on this special occasion.

Family Mass

Thank you. I am thrilled with the response to our family mass. Many of the children have volunteered to take on responsibilities during the service including members of our School Choir who will lead the singing. We look forward to celebrating together on November the 16th at 6pm.  All SFX families are welcome to attend.
