Term 4, Week 5
Dear Parents and Carers,
It was wonderful to see so many families from our school community come together for the parish fete. The turnout was fantastic, with families enjoying the stalls, games, delicious food and the show bags were a hit. Events like the parish fete remind us of the wonderful community we are part of and the Catholic community we belong to.
This month, many of our male staff are participating in Movember, an initiative aimed at raising awareness and funds for men’s health awareness. Movember provides an excellent opportunity for our school community to support and promote awareness of men’s health, and we're proud to see our staff contributing to such a meaningful movement.
If you would like to support our male staff and this great cause, you can donate via this link:

It was great to meet our new and current Prep 2025 families at the commencement of our Headstart Program. Over the past 2 weeks our parents have had the opportunity to listen to our leaders and learn more about our school and the children have enjoyed getting to know other children that will be joining them in Prep in 2025.
Year 6 mini fete will be on Monday 11th November. This is always an exciting part of our school year. As part of their economics unit, our Year 6 students have been learning about social enterprise and how to hopefully make a profit. A great deal of work has gone into the planning and marketing of their stalls. We have a variety of stalls this year which I’m sure our whole school will enjoy. Some of the stalls include a variety of food and drinks, sporting competitions, handmade jewellery and mystery lucky dips. Prices vary from 50 cents to $2.00. Some of the proceeds from the Mini Fete will be donated to Catholic Mission, supporting the important work they do in communities all around the world. Thank you in advance for your support, and we can’t wait to see the creativity and energy that our Year 6 students bring to this special event!
On Monday, we will come together as a school community to honor and remember the courage, sacrifice, and resilience of those who have served and continue to serve in defense of our country. We will pause at 11am for a 1 minute silence to pay tribute to the men and women who have given so much for our freedom and peace. This small act of reflection is a reminder of the significance of their service and a moment for us to appreciate the peace and unity we experience today.
We are very excited for our Christmas Musical on Wednesday 11th December.
