Principal's Report

Dear families,

FUN AT THE FAUNA PARK

Last week the Junior School took a trip to the Kyabram Fauna Park. Students loved wandering around the park and spotting the animals. The habitat education sessions were interactive and informative. A great day was had by all.

SUPPORT GROUP MEETINGS

This week, we have been holding support group meetings that bring together parents, students, and staff to celebrate past successes and set goals for the future. These SSGs provide a valuable opportunity for the school and families to collaborate, fostering an environment that promotes positive outcomes for all students. A big thank you to Mrs Watt for all of her organisation.

JUNIOR SCHOOL COUNCIL

At our meeting this week our council identified three projects they would work on for the term. They are:

  • Lunch time games on Wednesdays
  • World Kindness Day- Wednesday 13th November (BBQ lunch and Zooper Doopers-purchase via Qkr!)
  • Fun Sports Day – Monday December 16th

SPECIAL WEDDING

Aspen Kimmorley is being married this weekend. I’m sure she will make a beautiful bride. We wish Aspen and Andrew all our very best wishes for their future together. Hopefully next week we will have some photos to share with you.

DENTAL VAN

Many families took the opportunity to access the Dental Van this week. The Smile Squad is a Victorian Government program that provides free dental care to all Victorian government primary, secondary and specialist school students. We are working with them to secure a second date for those students that were not seen, and for students on Somers Camp.

SCHOOL COUNCIL

Our first School Council for the term will be held next Monday at 6.30pm. Prior to this meeting we will hold our finance meeting at 6pm.

Have a lovely weekend,

 Regards Heather
