Active November

Active November is here and City of Casey is running a competition for all families at Casey Schools to increase their active travel to/from school.

All you need to do is look out for the attached poster with one of our Safe Around Schools Characters in a selected park or reserve near their school. Scan the code and enter.  It is that simple! Enter while walking, riding, or scooting to/from school. You can enter multiple times during school hours.

There are 10 x gift cards to be won and winners will be chosen randomly, drawn, and notified on 3/12/2024.

Remember part of the way is ok and it doesn’t have to be every day!

More details on the competition can be found on the link preview below.

In the City of Casey we are very lucky to have so many great places to walk - active travel paths, parks, and reserves around our community. This time of year, is a great time to explore and get active in your community.  Why not meet up with family and friends before or after school, walk together, and improve your family's health and well-being at the same time?

Did you know we also have over 370 playgrounds in the City of Casey?

Below are a couple of easy ideas to inspire your family to get active.
