Marketing Update

A major focus for Committee this season is to increase the club's presence on social media and online platforms. Nicole has taken on our Social Media role this season, and has been creating engaging, fun, striking posts that have gained attention from other clubs and increased followers and likes on Facebook and Instagram. 

Over the last couple of months, a lot of work has been happening behind the scenes to research and evaluate the club's presence, which includes the logo design, uniform options, and the website.

Committee have a lot of special projects underway, and can't wait to share them all with you very soon! We hope you will all be as excited as we are!

Coaching Mentor - Wayne Lawes

We are excited to announce that Wayne Lawes will be joining RSC for some coaching and mentoring over the next few months. Wayne will work closely with our coaching team and swimmers to provide some professional development and assistance in fine tuning our training sessions and sets. Stay tuned for more information regarding parent sessions. 

Wayne will provide on deck technical support and mentoring for our coaches, so you may see him around pool over the coming weeks. This is a very exciting time for RSC and we can't wait to learn from Wayne!

Wayne has an extensive swimming background and brings with him a long list of qualifications and achievements. He has coached many Olympic and international swimmers and in 2016 he was awarded the Australian Coaches Association Award for Outstanding Contribution to Australian Swimming. Wayne has worked with many swim clubs in a mentoring capacity, and has coached many clinics and workshops including JX and State & District Development programs. 

South Australia Trip- March 2025

Planning for South Australia is well underway. 

Expressions of Interest have now closed, and swimmers will be notified in the coming weeks if they have been selected for the trip. 

We will have 4 Team Managers and 2 Coaches accompanying our swimmers. Thank you to the parents that have expressed interest in being a Team Manager- you will be notified within the next two weeks once the team has been finalised.
