Celebrating Learning

They’re Multiplying!!!

As we begin term four the students are looking at multiplication and division in Main Lesson with a focus on the growth of populations and the changes cities go through during these times. We move onto Geometry next working with compasses and protractors to learn about angles and the specifics of the shapes they already know and the complexities of other shapes. 

This week we head to the botanical gardens as a part of the gardening program and will be reporting about it shortly after at the next assembly. Work from the children and their thoughts on the current Main Lesson below.

Jethro says “It is fun to learn about different ways to multiply and divide”.

Delilah says “It is interesting using the multiplication strategies for bigger numbers.”.

Ila says “I prefer doing picture Main Lessons or Main Lessons about history rather than maths”.
