School Council
Summer Sessions
- Last Friday afternoon, despite the intimidating forecast, a crowd turned out to listen to some tunes, sample yummy treats and come together as a school community.
In the multi-purpose room DJ G-Nome got people dancing with some tasty beats and as the rain fell, Pirrutu's beautiful music entertained a packed crowd.
The BBQ was smoking with sausages 'a plenty, including a new delicious 'gourmet dog' option in fresh bread and topped off with cheese and amazing homemade toppings like chilli con-carne.
For the sweet tooth, there was a choice of Messina ice-cream, popcorn with four delicious flavours and the crowd favourite, judging by the line... fairy floss! You were even able to wash it all down with some delish drinks - juice, soda, aperitif and non-alcoholic beers.
For the creative among us, you could make a key ring, badge or summer sessions iron on and for the green thumbs, the plants were a plenty at the garden stall. A BIG thanks to all the generous musicians and volunteers who helped make our first summer sessions such a fund event. Also, to everyone who, despite the wild forecast, turned up, ate, drank, talked, danced and laughed through the event.
See you all next time at summer session #2 on Friday 6 December. Until then we'd love your feedback to help us make these events better. :) https://forms.gle/ykvyM1ugA2rTdB937

Colour Run
- Get ready to put on your running shoes, don your most colourful attire, and join us for an exhilarating and vibrant event that promises fun, fitness, and a kaleidoscope of colours – the School Fun Run’s Crazy Colour Day!
Mark your calendars because on the 20th of November our school grounds will be transformed into a canvas of colours. The event aims to promote health, wellness, and community spirit while having an absolute blast!
Hopefully by now you will have seen the material about the COLOUR RUN we’re holding to raise money to buy some much needed sports jerseys, as well as funds to ensure the outside of the school gets an uplift alongside our new build.
We are using the platform on schoolfundraising.com.au to raise the money.
What do we need you to do?
All we need you to do this week is create an online profile for your child/ren at funrun.com.au. - The class with the most profiles by next assembly: Monday 28th October will all get an icy pole!
For every dollar raised, prizes are available to be redeemed after the run.
Get ready to make memories with your kids, while they run, laugh, and get drenched in a spectrum of colors!
This is an inclusive fundraiser we would love you to be apart of! If you would like to come down and watch your kids run, we would love to see you there!
Working Bee Sunday November 10th
We’re excited to invite you to our Working Bee on Sunday, November 10th, from 10 AM to 2 PM! As we prepare for the first stage of our building works over the summer holidays, we need your help to organise items in the bike shed, garden, and tool sheds. Our focus will be on clearing out the new secure bike storage area at the front of the school.
Your support can make a big difference. Bring the kids along for some playtime or to lend a helping hand. Together, we can make our school environment even better.
We’re also looking for new members to join the Master Plan and Grounds subcommittee. If you’re interested in being part of this exciting time for TPS, please email us at tpsmasterplan@gmail.com.
We’d love to share details about the new building design and how we plan to enhance our play and outdoor spaces.
