From the Educators

Hi everyone, my name is Yasmine and I am a educator at Lockley's North Primary School. This is my fourth year working with the OSHC team. I have also worked as a SSO for the last two years. I have loved working with the students and getting to know each of them. Lockley's North has such a lovely community with such amazing staff and students.  While working at OSHC I enjoy kicking the footy with the students and playing card games like uno and monopoly deal. It has been very rewarding seeing the growth in the students over my years at Lockley's North. It's been awesome to see the seniors getting excited for graduation and preparing for High School teaching. 

This week, careers have been our big idea at OSHC. It has been fun to explore different careers with the students and find out what the students are interested in for their future careers. We have also been exploring students' future goals and what a business is. The students have been super creative developing mind maps and their own businesses. With the weather improving every day, we have made the most of the outdoors. The students love developing their own games on the playground and oval. It has been rewarding to see the students develop peer relationships within the OSHC community. 

I am looking forward to the rest of term four. It is always fun for the students with the build up to Christmas.
