Classroom News

This is what our students have been up to this week.

Writing Narratives

This week, the 4/5 class have been focussing on creative writing structures, brain storming their ideas and organising these ideas to create a narrative.  While it can be tricky to organise and get your ideas down, it was great to see students highly engaged in their writing.

Year 6 with Hayley and Mel

Grade 6 are fortunate to have been chosen to be part of the Kids In Space Education Program with the Andy Thomas Space Foundation and the Australian Space Agency, which will run throughout Terms 1 and 2. As part of this program, we have been given a 3D printer which we will use to solve problems both here on earth and for the astronauts up in space! Today we gave our printer a test run and made ourselves a class mascot. Stay tuned for updates throughout the program!

Bogong Moth Mural

Families are invited to make a Bogong Moth for a new wall mural in our Art/Music space, and encouraged to write an intention for the year ahead, on the back.  If you didn't get a chance to participate at our afternoon tea event, we have spare Bogong Moths at the office.
