Sporting Stars

Mountain Bike Series

A massive congratulations to Nina Garden (56NW) who won Round 7 State National Series and Round 8 of the Falls Creek Vic Champion Series which has now come to an end.  Nina had an awesome weekend, coming first in both events and taking out the Vic Champions Series and National.  Making this more amazing, on Saturday in the 1st race - on the last lap, her bike got a flat tyre.  Nina ran with her bike 1km to win and finish 1st in her category.  Well done Nina!  We look forward to hearing how you go at Nationals.

Thank you to students and parents who excitedly share their sporting stories with us.  We have some students working really hard outside school on many different sports and receiving some excellent awards. Keep sending them in to Mrs Aimie Brown at abrown@sjquarryhill.catholic.edu.au
