Welcome Back!

Our team would like to extend a warm welcome back to all our students and families. We hope everyone had a fantastic holiday! It's been a great start to the year, and we're excited to share some updates and achievements with you.

Netball Tryouts

A huge congratulations to Nya Quinlan and Alynyah Moran, who travelled to Brisbane over the holidays to try out for the Australian Indigenous Budgies Netball squad. We are thrilled to announce that both were selected to represent the Budgies—Nya in the U/18's squad and Alynyah in the U/15's squad. We're incredibly proud of you both and can't wait to see what this year has in store!

Swimming Carnival

Last week, we had our ASC Swimming Carnival, and it was a fantastic time! Everyone had a great time supporting each other and enjoying the day. Thank you to all who came along and made it a memorable event!

SBATS

A huge congratulations to our Year 11 students who were successfully selected for SBATs (School-Based Apprenticeships and Traineeships). These students will be completing a traineeship while continuing with Year 11 and 12 studies. Well done to Nya Quinlan, Tia Slater-Saunders, Nahri Slater-Saunders, and Grace Weatherall-Allen! We wish you all the best in this exciting new chapter.

Year 7 BBQ and Yarn Up

We’re combining our Year 7 Yarn Up with ASC’s Welcome Back BBQ this year! The BBQ will be held on Wednesday, March 5th. It’s a great chance to meet our staff and for us to get to know you better. So, come along, grab a bite to eat, and have a yarn. We look forward to seeing you there!

Year 11 and 12 Tutoring

Tutoring for Year 11 and 12 students will begin in Term 2, and more information will be shared soon.
