Important Bus Service Update – Thursday 12 June

We’ve been advised that CDC Victoria bus services will be disrupted this Thursday, 12 June 2025, due to planned industrial action.

 

Please note that our country school buses will operate as normal.

 

However, CDC (public) bus services will be disrupted. If your child normally travels to or from school on a town CDC bus, you may need to make alternative travel arrangements.

 

For further updates or information, families are encouraged to check the PTV website or app.

Thank a First Responder - Casual Sock Day & First Aid Training for all Students!  

 

Wednesday 11 June is Thank a First Responder Day, to show appreciation for the vital work of paramedics, police officers, firefighters, and other emergency personnel who are first on the scene when help is needed most.

 

To mark the occasion, we’re hosting a Casual Sock Day!

 

Students are encouraged to wear bright, fun or quirky socks with their regular school uniform and, if possible, bring along a gold coin donation.

 

All funds raised will go directly to St John Ambulance, who will be visiting our school the following week to deliver free First Aid training for all students. These age-appropriate sessions will take place on Wednesday 19 and Thursday 20 June, running for 45 minutes per class. 

 

This is a fantastic opportunity for students to:

  • Learn essential first aid and emergency response skills
  • Build confidence in handling emergency situations
  • Contribute to a culture of gratitude and community awareness

We look forward to a colourful day as we thank our first responders and empower our students with vital life skills!

Bunjil Awards

Bunjil awards recognise student achievement and those who display our school values of being respectful, responsible and kind.
