Year 10 HSIE

Year 10 HSIE Blue with Mr Stewart, have been exploring Indigenous rights in Australia this term. As part of their learning, students read the recently gifted book Growing Up at Sheep Station Gulley, by Tanya Connors-Keenan, which shares personal stories from Aboriginal people in our local area.

The class used the book to deepen their understanding of what life was like growing up at Goonoowigall. It was a valuable opportunity to connect classroom learning with lived experiences from our community.
