Leadership Centre

Highlight
Salamat Siang,
Time is flying, and we can’t believe there are only two weeks left of term!
In Week 9, students in the Leadership Centre began developing their own mathematics game boards with a focus on chance and probability. They designed original games, played them with their peers, and compared the expected and observed outcomes, a fun and hands-on way to explore key mathematical concepts.
In Literacy, students have started their informative writing unit, spending time researching and planning their information reports. Each student has chosen a topic that links to our current Guided Inquiry unit.
We also continued our Victorian Parliament role play incursion, which has been a highlight! Students enthusiastically took on the roles of parliamentary members and debated the topic: "Should video games have a curfew?" There was plenty of energy, creativity, and critical thinking as they dressed up, used props, and explored the process of passing a bill through parliament.
Wishing you a wonderful week ahead,
The Leadership Centre Team
