Halo,
What takes longer - brushing your teeth or baking cookies? This week in Maths, we have been learning all about time, including days of the week, times of the day and the duration of events. We investigated activities that take a short or long time, and categorised them into seconds, minutes and hours based on their duration. Students also discussed the difference between week days and the weekend, identiying the different types of activities they do in each.
We also had lots of fun meeting out kinder friends again, but this time the kinder students visited us in the classroom. We read 'Macca the Alpaca' and made our own alpaca crafts. It was wonderful to see the students demonstrating teamwork, creativity and leadership to support the kinder students.
Kind Regards,
Tegan, Emma and Ash
