Respectful Relationships and Berry Street
We are excited to share that our school is now officially a Peaceful Kids school!
Peaceful Kids is a wellbeing program designed to support children in developing lifelong skills to manage stress, anxiety, and big emotions through mindfulness, relaxation and resilience-building strategies. It is a small group intervention program that aligns beautifully with our school’s commitment to nurturing the whole child; emotionally, socially, and academically.
The program helps children:
Starting Term 3, I will be running Peaceful Kids groups with selected students from across the school. The program includes 8 one-hour sessions held during school hours in a calm, supportive environment.
Families of participating students will receive weekly updates about each session, including at-home discussion prompts, simple activities, and access to guided meditations to reinforce the learning at home.
We are proud to be offering Peaceful Kids as part of our broader approach to student wellbeing and are confident it will be a valuable addition to our support programs.
