Year 3&4 

This term, Year 3 and 4 students have been busy designing and constructing their own carnival-style games as part of their Science unit on forces. After weeks of planning and building, students proudly completed their creations and had a fantastic time playing each other’s games. It was wonderful to see the creativity and teamwork on display as students explored how different types of forces could be used in fun and engaging ways.

Year 5&6

Year 5 and 6 students have been exploring assistive technology and recently completed their own game controllers using Makey Makeys. After identifying a user and designing their controller to suit their specific needs, students brought their ideas to life with creative and thoughtful designs. They had a great time testing out their controllers on computers and using them to play games. The project was a great way to combine empathy, design thinking, and digital technology skills.
