Save the Date: Book Week Parade on Thursday, August 21 2025!
Our annual Book Week Parade is not far away, and will take place on Thursday, August 21, during Week 5 of Term 3.
The Book Week Parade is a wonderful opportunity for children to showcase their creativity and love of reading by dressing up as their favorite book characters. Whether they choose a beloved hero, a magical creature, or a character from a classic tale, we can't wait to see their imaginative costumes!
Parents are warmly invited to join us for this special occasion and cheer on our young readers as they parade their costumes.
Let's make this year's Book Week Parade an adventure for everyone involved!
Holiday Reading with SORA!

How to get started with Sora:
1️⃣ Download the Sora app from the App Store or Google Play, or visit soraapp.com on a computer.
2️⃣ Select the green button “My school is ACEN”
3️⃣ From the drop down menu select “ACEN”
4️⃣Select the green button “Sign in using ACEN”
5️⃣Sign into Catholic schools CeNet
Username: first name.second name
(eg. jane.smith)
Password: eg 12345678
6️⃣Browse and borrow books to read or listen to — anytime, anywhere!
Encourage your child to explore new stories, revisit old favourites, or try an audiobook on a family trip.
We hope Sora helps keep the love of reading alive during the holidays.
A reminder to all students participating in the Premier's Reading Challenge …. The challenge will close on Friday, September 19, 2025. It's important for students to ensure they have logged all their completed books online to successfully complete the challenge.
The Premier's Reading Challenge is a fantastic opportunity for our students to explore new books, and strengthen their reading skills. I encourage students to keep up the great work and continue logging their books online. If you have any questions or need assistance with logging books, please don't hesitate to contact me or visit the Premier's Reading Challenge website.
Happy Reading!
