This fortnight we have been learning how to summarise a narrative after the Preps read, by using the "Somebody, wanted, but, so, then" strategy. The Preps are improving their summarising and comprehension skills the more they practise.

In writing, we have been learning how to write a retell. We retell a known story by writing in sequential order of events that happen, whilst explaining the problem and solutions. They enjoyed retelling the story of the 3 little pigs.

In Maths we have been learning the units of time (seconds, minutes & hour). We have also been learning how to tell the time on an analogue clock using O'clock.

This week we have been looking at patterns in our environment and learning to build an AB and ABC core pattern with unifix.
