Yr 9 RAID Program

Year 9 Term 2 Wrap-Up

What an amazing term we've had in Year 9! Our most recent RAID days took us to the MCG for an exciting tour and visit to the Sports Museum, followed by a scenic boat ride along the Yarra River. Throughout these experiences, our Year 9 students have continued to demonstrate their growing independence and resilience.

In the classroom, students have been just as busy—especially in their electives—where they've been building and creating incredible projects. From designing and constructing mobile phone holders in Design Tech to performing plays in Drama, their creativity and effort have truly shone.

As we move into Semester 2, it's important that all students come prepared for class. This includes being on time and bringing the correct equipment. The school holidays are a great opportunity to restock pencil cases and get organised for the term ahead. To support this, we’ll be running an ‘equipment blitz’ during the first few weeks of Term 3.

We’d also like to remind students of the importance of respectful behaviour—towards peers, teachers, and the wider community. Positive conduct helps create a supportive and productive learning environment for all.

Looking ahead, Term 3 will be a busy one. The first two RAID days will be held at school, and as always, parents will receive an email with details the week prior. In the meantime, please find below the schedule for Wednesday, 23rd July.

We’re also excited for the upcoming Year 9 RAID Camp, which will take place from Wednesday 3 to Thursday 4 September. A separate email with all the details has been sent to families.

We look forward to another fantastic term ahead!
