Pythagoras Theorem 

"The Year 8s were learning about Pythagoras Theorem and how it is helpful in finding unknown side lengths to right angle triangles. 8B applied their learning through the use of whiteboard paddles as well as practical sessions out on the oval with Miss Yao and Gary Campbell. Student testimony “On Tuesday the 14th of October, the class of 8B went outside with Gary and Miss Yao, to build a Pythagorean triad with the measurements of 4m, 3m and 5m. While doing this, we measured each measurement and placed a wooden stick accordingly making sure it equalled the correct measurements, after that we wrapped string around making a perfect triangle following Pythagoras Theorem.” By Lucy and Alyssa 8B
