What's happening at our school?

Dingo

On Tuesday Desert and Will came to visit us. Desert looked like a dog but he actually wasn’t, he was dingo from the desert near Alice Springs. He is a pet now. We patted him. He is only 3. Will told us a story about when all the people went to watch a footy game and he ran on the field and all the people were chasing him. He is a bit cheeky. Dingoes are very lean and they have lots of fur on the bottom of their feet to keep sprinkles out and there were sandstorms were he lived. We enjoyed seeing Desert.

We played minute to win it because we were learning about time. We played popsicle dice stack. We did picking up chopstick pompoms. We also stacked cheerios on our nose. We stacked base ten blocks. We had to it in 60 seconds which is one minute. We had fun. I liked when we stacked the cheerios on peoples noses.

Edgars Mission and the Jam Jar Project

We raised money with a toy frenzy and everyone brang toys they didn't want anymore and then the other classes could buy those things. We split into 3 jars, splurge, smile and give. With splurge we made a class party. With Smile we got sports equipment. With Give we gave the money to Edgars Mission to help other animals. Pam came and we got to take a photo in front of her van and it had animals on it. We all made her cards. We gave her the money and she gave us a book.
