What a wonderful year it has been!
The students have been absolute superstars in their first year of school! They have learnt so many new skills, built great friendships and have created great memories!
The Colour Fun Run was a great way to close out the year, enjoy these colourful, happy snaps!
Thank you all for a fantastic year.
It has been an absolute pleasure getting to know the students and watching them grow over the course of the year.
We hope you all have a restful and safe holiday break and we wish you all the best for 2026 and beyond.
Level 1
What an exciting end to the year it has been in Level 1!
Last week we went on our much-anticipated excursion to Clip ’n Climb, and it was a huge success. We had a great time playing on the Cheeky Monkey Playground, and the students showed amazing resilience and bravery as they tried a range of climbing walls — including one in the dark! We were so proud of everyone for giving things a go and supporting their friends.
Our Concert performances were another highlight. The students loved singing “All I Want for Christmas Is My Two Front Teeth” and “Frosty the Snowman.” Their costumes looked fantastic, and they performed with confidence, big smiles, and lots of festive spirit.
To finish off our wonderful year together, we have begun some fun and creative Christmas activities, bringing plenty of joy, colour, and celebration into the classroom.
It’s been a fantastic year in Level 1, and we are so proud of everything the students have achieved!
Level 2
Over the last couple of weeks, our Level 2 students have been busy creating amazing dioramas to showcase different animal habitats as part of our Inquiry unit.
Each diorama included the essential elements animals need to survive—shelter, food, water and space. Students used their creativity and problem-solving skills to design thoughtful and detailed habitats and we are so impressed with how incredible they look!
As we come to the end of the year, we’d like to celebrate what a wonderful year we’ve had in Level 2. We’ve shared plenty of fun, learning and laughter. We are so proud of each student’s growth throughout the year.
We wish all of our Level 2s the very best as they move into Level 3 next year!
Level 3
To finish our Inquiry unit, Our Local Government, the Level 3 students set off on an exciting project to design and build their own towns.
After creating their own rules and laws, students planned thoughtfully, collaborated as a team, and brought in recyclable materials from home to construct their towns from the ground up.
They all worked so well focusing on meeting the criteria, working as a team and being as creative as possible.
Level 4
What an amazing year it has been in Grade 4!
We enjoyed so many memorable experiences, including our three-day camp to Phillip Island, Bike Ed, and our Amazing Earth project, where students proudly presented their experiments to families.
We also explored Scienceworks and First Nations beach walk.
We enjoyed exciting incursions such as Billy Carts and African Drumming.
Students showed incredible creativity during our Shark Tank-style invention presentations, and they loved connecting with our kinder students and meeting their Foundation buddies for next year. Many students also represented our school in State School Spectacular, Downball, Aerobics and Hoop Time.
It has been a wonderful year of learning, teamwork and growth. Thank you for all your support, and we wish everyone a safe and happy holiday break!

Level 5
Year 5 Highlights – A Wonderful Blend of Learning, Creativity and Community!
What an action-packed and inspiring few weeks it has been for our Year 5 students! Their energy, enthusiasm and willingness to jump into every opportunity has truly stood out. Many of our students represented the school brilliantly at the State Hooptime Competition, showing outstanding teamwork, determination and sportsmanship. Others took part in the Foothills Community Care excursion, where they helped pack hampers for families in need. Their kindness, maturity and genuine desire to make a difference were wonderful to see.
Our swimmers also took on the swimming trials with courage and great effort, giving their best whether they were seasoned swimmers or trying something new. On top of all this, students have been incredibly busy preparing for the school concert. Their enthusiasm during rehearsals was fantastic, and they did a sensational job organising their costumes. All their hard work had paid off with their spectacular performances across Wednesday and Thursday.
Many Year 5s have also had a taste of JP Racing, taking on the HPV and pushcarts with huge smiles and eager teamwork. Back in the classroom, learning has been buzzing along beautifully. Students have been creating festive Christmas wreaths and stockings, researching a scientist for Inquiry, and developing their creativity through script writing.
We are so proud of the hard work, positivity and engagement our Year 5 students continue to show.
What a wonderful way to finish the year!
Level 6
On the 4th of December, Level 6 students packed their beach bags, and headed to Smiths Beach in Phillip Island for Surf Day.
We were lucky enough to have beautiful, hot weather for the whole of the day and participated in a surf lesson! In this lesson we were taught how to properly catch a wave, and even stand up. We also learnt very important information about rips, and where the water from the waves go. After this lesson we were told that we knew more about Smiths Beach than 90% of beach visitors. While some students cruised through the waves, others hung out on the beach and played games, made sand castles and mini pools in the sand.
Overall surf day was such an amazing experience, from learning about the beach or hanging out with our friends, we really did it all.
