Foundation
Our Foundation students have been busy creating artworks that combine painting, collage, and drawing techniques.
The final pieces are these wonderful, buzzing bee pictures! Students painted the background lines using dye, working carefully to keep them as straight as possible. They then drew and coloured their bees with oil pastels before gluing them onto the background.
To complete the scene, they added collaged grass and flowers, bringing their artwork to life.
Level 1
Level One students have been interested in Capybaras, so we embraced their enthusiasm and turned it into an exciting art project.
Together, we explored interesting Capybara facts—like how they often sleep in water to stay safe. Students learned how to draw a peaceful, sleeping capybara drifting on the water’s surface.
They then painted their artwork using watercolours and chose a flower for their capybara to hold, adding a charming final touch.
