Learning & Teaching News

We have now officially concluded our 2025 academic year and are looking forward to recognising the outstanding achievements of our students at next week’s Awards Presentation Ceremony. This is always a special moment in our school calendar—an opportunity to celebrate not only excellence, but effort, perseverance, and personal growth. As the year draws to a close, we hope all students can look back with pride and recognise the progress they have made, both in their learning and in their development as young people.

Headstart 2026 is now underway, with students settling into their new classes and meeting their teachers for the year ahead. For our senior students, this period is particularly valuable. It provides an early introduction to their VCE studies and allows them to begin organising textbooks, understanding course expectations, and getting a head start on the holiday homework that will support their learning. Completing this preparation is essential—it strengthens the skills they will rely on next year and ensures they can begin the new term with confidence and momentum.

For our junior classes, Headstart offers a fresh beginning: new subjects, new classmates, and new teachers. It is a chance for students to familiarise themselves with routines and expectations, explore upcoming learning, and set positive habits early. We encourage all students to embrace this time with curiosity, enthusiasm, and a willingness to challenge themselves.

As we move towards the end-of-year celebrations and prepare for the exciting opportunities ahead, we thank our students, families, and staff for their commitment, resilience, and support throughout 2025. We look forward to seeing everyone return refreshed and ready for another successful year in 2026.
