Celebration Spot

Each week we love to celebrate any students who may have achieved something significant during sporting events, dancing, baptisms, theatre, music achievements etc. both inside school and outside school.

Please email reception@dcs.tas.edu.au with the details (we would love a photo too!) so we can celebrate together as a community.

New Babies

It is with great excitement that we welcome some new members to the DCS Community:

Congratulations to the following students and staff (and their families), on the safe arrival of your new little ones:

Mr Murfet (Secondary) welcomed a new son, Micah.

Ellie (Prep) welcomed a new baby brother, Tate.

JUMP Dance Competition

A huge congratulations to Layla, Poppy and Méabh who represented KC Studio of Dance at the JUMP Dance Competition over the weekend.

The girls performed beautifully across their solo routines and also teamed up in the troupe section, where they delivered outstanding performances that earned them 1st place in all three categories: Jazz, Lyrical, and Broadway.

Well done, Méabh, Layla, and Poppy — your hard work, passion, and teamwork shone on stage!
