Boarding Bulletin

This week has been all about exams and assignments, with students across all year levels studying hard. Our Years 10, 11, and 12 boarders have been in-house when not attending school for their exams, making the most of the quiet study environment in the Boarding House.

Events

Last night was a sea of maroon for State of Origin festivities. Although Queensland did not come out winners, we all enjoyed Krispy Kreme celebration donuts

Clayfield on Tour

This Sunday, I will be travelling to St George with Dr Cousins to attend the Isolated Children’s Parents’ Association (ICPA) State Conference. These tours are a wonderful opportunity to reconnect with our boarding families and Old Collegians in the region.

I will return on Wednesday 4 June. During my absence, Tina Mills, Assistant Head of Boarding, will be available to assist you.

Staff Update – Boarding and International Students

Our Boarding and International Student Officer, Christine Quist, is taking a well-deserved break to travel home to Canada with her family. Christine will commence her leave this Friday and will return on Monday 4 August.

Friends of Boarding

The next meeting of Friends of Boarding will be held via Zoom on Wednesday 11 June at 7:00pm. An agenda and Zoom link will be sent to all boarding parents and guardians next Wednesday 4 June.

End of Term

The end of term is fast approaching; there is only three weeks to go! Term 2 will finish on Thursday 19 June at 3:10pm.
