Musical Joke of the Week 

How lucky we are to once again be able to offer a Performing Arts program here at Sacred Heart! It has been such a pleasure to jump into this new role and spend time getting to know all our students across the school and ignite a passion for all things musical and theatrical so far this year.  

This year, I have been very fortunate to be working alongside Senorina Cardamone to pair our performing arts program with our language program.

National Reconciliation Week  

Last week, we recognised, acknowledged and celebrated National Reconciliation Week here at Sacred Heart. Our Music classroom became a space for learning, reflection, and celebration of Indigenous and First Nations cultures. ‘Solid Rock’ by Goanna became our official theme song and students across all classes were able to listen to explore the meaning and history of the iconic 80’s rock song. As a school, we showcased this with a performance on Wednesday afternoon.
