Italian News

Buongiorno a tutti!
Firstly I'd like to say congratulazioni to the students who received Confirmation and First Eucharist! Auguri a tutti!
Our grade 1's have been learning, "grande e piccolo". For entertainment at home, perhaps ask them to sing the song and do the dance. đ
Grade 2's have been learning different ways of expressing how they feel. We are now venturing into new territory very grown up for their age. We are learning classroom items but also different ways the Italian language uses the word "the". Mindboggling!
Grade 3's have been learning the days of the week through song and games. We will soon find out how these days got their names.
Grade 4's, 5's and 6's are all steam ahead with the Avanti program! This is a great program to teach sentence building and grammar, new vocab and expressions.
But it's the Preps that have stolen the show! Â
Our Preps have learnt so much Italian so far. Extremely impressive! Â
Watch the short video below to see how many words they can say and write!!!Â
Amazing!
Â
Con amore. A piĂš tardi!
