Principal's News

Dear Families and Friends of Trinity Primary School,
It has been another action packed week at Trinity with so much learning happening in each of our classrooms. With our student reports going out at the end of the term children have been revising and completing learning tasks to enable classroom teachers to assess where each of their children are in relation to the key curriculum areas covered throughout Semester One. Further information about the Parent & Child meetings will be shared with families closer to the end of term so that bookings can be made to meet with class teachers.
King's Birthday Public Holiday
A reminder that there will be no school on Monday due to the King's Birthday Public Holiday. I hope you all have a great long weekend with your families.
Milo's Birthday Surprise
Wednesday was a very special day for our Prep students celebrating Milo's Birthday Surprise. A very big thankyou to all our prep families who made such a great effort to send children to school in dress up characters from the story. Developing a love of literature is such an important part of our children's learning and providing these sorts of celebrations will create lasting memories for each of our children and further develop their love of reading.
School Uniform
We are having a bit of a blitz on correct school uniform and we would greatly appreciate your support in ensuring our children are all wearing the correct school uniform each day. As I walked through the lines at our Monday Morning Gathering I was extremely pleased to see an almost 100% effort from our children. There are, however, a few children still wearing coloured runners with their academic school uniform. These runners can be worn on sports days only and on all other days either black school shoes or all black runners.
Parents & Friends
Mr Ru and I will be meeting regularly with our P&F Comittee to discuss and plan for further school fundraising and social events. As part of these meetings we will also look at the funds we already have and prioritize where this money can be used to purchase or improve resources for our children. Thanks again to all those parents who have completed the GOOGLE Form below to offer their support in big and small ways.
I have included the Google Form HERE once more in case you have not had the opportunity to respond and ask that you all complete this to share your support for our P&F.
Wellbeing - Grounded. by Gracie - EFT Tapping, Mindfulness & Breathwork
We were lucky enough recently to have Gracie work with a number of students and Ms Antonella to provide an introductory workshop involving the techniques of EFT Tapping, Mindfulness and Breathing. We are now looking at the possibility of providing further workshops for our students. Gracie also offers sessions for adults either 1:1 or in groups. If there is enough interest we could also consider running a parent program here at school. There may be a small cost for adults with the school subsidising the sessions. Let us know in the GOOGLE Form HERE if this might be of interest to you.
