Student Awards will be presented at Assembly on 

Friday June 20, 2025 (2.35pm) 

 

Congratulations to our most recent Award winners!

Foundation

  • Aubrey L (FBW) - ‘Help Others Succeed’ for being a kind, caring and thoughtful class member. Thank you, Aubrey, for always looking out for your peers and offering to help when you notice someone needs a hand.  I know your helpful ways bring plenty of smiles to our classroom.  Thank you and well done! 

  • William F (FBW) – ‘Be Your Best’ for trying hard to hear the sounds in words so that you can complete your own sentences during writing time.  Keep up the great work William!

  • Wyatt C (FSC) – ‘Be Your Best’ for using our classroom character posters to help you remember the sounds that letters make when you are reading and spelling words. Keep up the great work Wyatt! 

  • Toby H (FSC) – ‘Be Your Best’ for always presenting your work to a high standard. Well done for the careful way in which you write and colour in Toby – keep up the wonderful work! 

Year 1 & 2

  • Ella H (12GM) - ‘Be Your Best’ for displaying an excellent understanding of addition and subtraction.  You have been able to add and subtract two-digit numbers using MAB, number lines, partitioning and effective mental strategies.  Well done Ella!

  • Lenny B (12GM) - ‘Be Responsible’ for always making strong choices in class to ensure you finish every task you begin.  You are a terrific role model to others!  Great job Lenny!

  • Asher C (12LD) - ‘Be Your Best’ for working hard during writing time to apply the taught formula to persuasive texts.  Keep up the great work, Asher!

  • Hamish M (12LD) - ‘Help Others Succeed’ for always making excellent contributions to class discussions.  Well done, Hamish!

Year 3 & 4

  • Raegan C (34RP) - ‘Be Your Best’ for your excellent skip counting and knowledge of number patterns.  Well done, Raegan!

  • Taanashe M (34RP) - ‘Be Your Best’ for working hard to build your knowledge in all Math areas.  Keep up the great work Taanashe!

  • Parker W (34LB)- ‘Help Others Succeed’ for going out of his way to help and support others in the classroom.  Well done, Parker!

  • Atticus M (34LB) - ‘Be Responsible’ for showing great independence with your learning.  Atticus, you have been listening attentively and getting the best out of yourself.  Well done!

  • Eli S (34JM) - ‘Help Others Succeed’ for being such a thoughtful and helpful member of our class.  Eli, you are always willing to lend a hand to help and take on extra responsibilities.  I really appreciate you and all your help.  Thanks Eli!

  • Nixon K (34JM) - ‘Be Responsible’ for being a great role model to other students in class.  Nixon you are always ready to learn and focussed on your work.  Thank you for being so responsible and helpful all the time. Keep it up!

  • Grace H (34JM) - ‘Be Your Best’ - Grace, you are a thoughtful and caring person who is always kind to others. You always think deeply about the work you are doing, and it is wonderful to see! Proud of you Grace!

Year 5 & 6

  • Saxon C (56EN) - ‘Be Your Best’ for making many new connections in his reading. Saxon you have listened well to our class story ‘Dirran’, learnt a lot about the characters and plot and understood why characters have reacted the way they have.  Well Done!

  • Thomas E (56EN) – ‘Help Others Succeed’ for using the environment respectfully.  Thomas, thank you for offering to assist with the packing up of our equipment after the bread making activity with our buddies.

  • Cassidy T (56EN) – ‘Be Your Best’ for your kind nature and willingness to help others is appreciated.  Thank you for ensuring your buddy had a wonderful time making bread as well as helping to assist with the cleaning up! 

  • Lola K (56NW) -Be Responsible’ for your incredible focus and determination you display towards your learning.  Lola, you’re always one of the first to become organised and ready to learn.  Well done.

  • Taj A (56NW) – ‘Be Your Best’ for actively contributing to classroom discussions.  Taj, it’s always a pleasure to hear your insightful ideas throughout the day. Well done. 

Specialist

THE ARTS (Yr 3-6)

  • Poppy C (56TD) - ‘Be Your Best’ for working tirelessly on your role of the ‘Wicked Witch’ for the school production.  You happily take feedback and ask questions to help with your character development.  Poppy, your facial expressions and line learning are commendable.  You also support the production team each week.

  • Dom T (56NW) - ‘Be Your Best’ for applying your best efforts to your animal 4 ways portrait.  You are beginning to ask questions and to take on feedback to help you improve on your work.

  • Lottie T (34LB) - ‘Be Your Best’ for always applying yourself fully to all tasks, no matter whether theoretical or practical, and for being an encouraging and supportive leader in your class when completing ensemble work.

  • Ava S (34JM) - ‘Be Your Best’ for a very creative piece of art depicting the secret lives of ants.  Ava, your imagination, attention to detail and neatness have shone through in your work.

STEAM (F-Yr 2)

  • Hugh H (FSC) - ‘BE Your Best’ for demonstrating excellent understanding while learning about living things from the past and creatively crafting his own fossil model.  Keep up the excellent effort, Hugh.

  • Delilah D (12ZH) - ‘Be Your Best’ for your carefully planned, colourful, and clever dinosaur shield design, which shows great creativity and vision.  Your design will be a great starting point for your shield prototype.  Keep up the fantastic work!

 

INDONESIAN (F-Yr 2)

  • Ava K (FBW) - ‘Be Your Best’ for listening and following instructions well.  Ava takes great pride in her work.  Baik sekali - very good Ava.

  • Harry P (12LD) - ‘Be Responsible’ for always being so attentive and completing his tasks in Indonesian.  You are a quiet achiever, Harry.  Hebat - Excellent.

 

 

Happy Birthday
