Laudato Si Week

A Prayer for All Creation

Creator God, we give thanks for the gift of creation. 

We give thanks for its beauty and the joy that beauty brings us. 

We give thanks for light that shines in the darkness, 

for the stars and the sun, 

for the air we breathe and the plants and animals that you have created, 

for earth and water, and for the daily sustenance we draw from them.

Inspire us to see You, Creator, 

through all that You have created—all that you look upon as very good.

Help us to care for creation as You instructed us.

Help us be stewards of its abundant life.

We ask this through Christ, our Lord. Amen.

F/1/2 and the Creation Story

The juniors have been learning the creation story.  They have read the story, discussed the story, decorated the story, listened to a song about creation and now showed the days of creation through drawings.  Here are few examples.

The F/1/2 students also created their own picture book of the Creation Story.

In Year Six we have been learning about the Seven Sacraments and and the Symbols of Confirmation.

4/5 prayer

The 4/5 class have adopted a new process for their daily morning prayer.  They are given examples of Christian life to think about and reflect on, they listen to a short piece of scripture, then listen to a children's hymn related to that day's scripture.
