Madagascar Jr @ St Joseph's School
September 2nd and September 3rd 2025
Rehearsals are underway for our school Production of Madagascar Jr. The Year 5/6 students who have been giving up some of their playtime for rehearsals have shown such respect and responsibility during these sessions, and we are making great progress. I'm really enjoying working with them as they develop their characters for the stage!
Unfortunately, I have been absent from the last three Performing Arts lessons, but Mrs Asbury tells me that all students across the school have been working hard as they begin to learn their songs. I can't wait to hear our Zoo Guests and Foosa (Year 3 and Year 4) and Lemurs (Foundation, Year 1 and Year 2) sing for me next week. Thank you Mrs Asbury for stepping into this role for me and taking these classes.
I know you will all support the Production and buy tickets next term to see your wonderful children on stage, however, we would also like a small army of helpers to assist in making this happen! We are seeking parents who can help us with backdrops, sets, costumes, props or accessories by painting, gluing, cutting, shopping, sewing or building. Please complete the form below to indicate how you may wish to assist.
