F/1/2 Photo Trail Excursion

Last week the F/1/2's went to Maroondah Dam for the Photo Trail Excursion!! The day started with lots of games run by Upper Yarra Students. The students played games such as the pizza delivery game, parachute games, soccer numbers, memory games, throw the chicken game and more! 

After our games morning we did the Photo Trail! The Foundation and Grade 1 students had to look at the photos and find their location. There were questions such as 'How many chairs are in the rotunda'. This meant the Foundation and Grade 1 students had to do some searching to find the answers!

The Grade 2 students had to follow the photo clues to break the hidden code! The Grade 2's trail was more of an independent task, which gave the chance to problem solve and work collaboratively with their peers.

We managed to also get up on the Dam Wall where a few groups saw a big kangaroo! It was a fantastic day had by all!
