Literacy

Oh we love Literacy time!! This week we practiced making decodable words using hands on materials and even made Caterpillar cookies when we learned the letter C this week! Using these hands on materials helps the sounds sink in so much more!

Pig the Pug Retell

This week we explored the story Pig the Pug! Here are our retells of the story!

Maths

This week we finished our unit of Part-Whole. This is where we used a whole number from 0-10 and partitioned the number into parts. The Foundations are now experts at breaking whole numbers into two and even three parts! 

By the end of this unit, we started to use dice to made the whole and showed the parts by adding them together.

Autumn Art

This week we went for a walk around the bush and found some beautiful Autumn leaves! Using the Autumn leaves we created these leaf people! How cool are they? This would be such a fun activity to do at home as well!
