Year 1 Explores Toys of the Past

Year 1 has had a wonderful start to the year, diving into our inquiry unit on how things have changed over time. This week, our focus has been on the evolution of toys.

We were lucky to welcome a fantastic educator from Supreme Incursions, who guided us through a hands-on learning experience about toys from the past. Students explored how materials used to make toys have changed and even had the chance to play with a variety of old-fashioned toys.

It was inspiring to see the curiosity and enthusiasm as students asked thoughtful questions and investigated the differences between toys from then and now. What a great way to bring history to life!
