Confirmation

Congratulations to Lyla, Marshal and Reuben for receiving the Sacrament of Confirmation last Sunday. The Catholic Sacrament of Confirmation is when a baptized child receives the fullness of the Holy Spirit, strengthening the grace given at Baptism. It's a moment when they personally confirm their faith and are empowered to live as a witness for Christ in the world. It marks them with a permanent spiritual "seal" and deepens their relationship with God and the Church.

It was a beautiful celebration especially as our parish of St Brigid's was the first diocesan parish visited by Bishop Murphy and the first time he conferred the Sacrament of Confirmation as a Bishop.

Catholic Schools Week

Due to the unfortunate electrical problems in the Cathedral our primary students won't be travelling to Armidale tomorrow for  the Catholic Schools' Week Mass; as the new venue is much smaller than the Cathedral. The Mass will be held at the Chapel at O' Connor Catholic College. The School Captains, Mrs Cortis, Mrs Darnell and Mrs Long will be representing our school at this important celebration.

FAMILY MASS

We will not have a Family Mass this Sunday due to last Sunday's Confirmation Mass.
