A big welcome back to all students and families for 2024!
We are so glad to see everyone back at school in their new classrooms and into their learning. The start of the year can be tricky for everyone - getting back into routine, adjusting to changes and settling into new spaces.
We have a big year ahead with lots of exciting things coming so look forward to sharing it with our school community.
Please note the following important dates:
Please remember students are not to be dropped off at the school any earlier than 8.30am.
Our small carpark can be a very busy place! A reminder to please adhere to the 5kmp/h speed limit at all times.
Staff supervise the car park during the following pick up and drop off times:
Morning drop off: 9.15 - 9.30am
Afternoon pick up: 2.30 - 3.00pm
Please respect the designated disability carparks. If you have mobility concerns/issues getting students from the car into the school yard please chat to classroom teachers or office staff about how we can assist with this. Otherwise we are happy to help with applications for an accessible parking permit to enable you to use these parks.
Parent/carers are reminded to please return their permission packs ASAP, if they haven't already.
These are required before we can commence some curricular activities, such as Community Access bus excursions.
If you have lost your pack or need help completing it, please contact the front office.
Our school collects and uses student and parent personal information for standard school functions or where permitted by law, as stated in the Schools’ Privacy Policy and the Schools’ Privacy Collection Notice.
Our Photographing, Filming and Recording Students Policy describes how we collect and use photographs, video and recordings of students. The policy also explains when parent consent is required and how it can be provided and withdrawn. This consent form has been included in the permission packs sent home last week and is required to be completed and returned to the office.
We ask parents to also review the guidance we provide on how we use Microsoft 365/ Google Workspace for Education safely at the school and what parents can do to further protect their child’s information. If after reviewing the guidance, you have any questions or concerns regarding your child using Microsoft 365/Google Workspace for Education, please contact the school.
