WELCOME BACK

T1 2024

A very warm welcome to our new families and children and also to our ongoing families and students!

We have had a very settled start to the year with staff having created beautiful and calm learning spaces and students forming positive connections with staff and new class mates.

Last year we worked on updating our high behaviour expectations in line with our whole school values and are working to help our students learn connections between the two.

Hopefully you may hear your children talk about how we are: Respectful, Inclusive and Learners and making connections in using our values to display these high behaviour expectations.

A strong and consistent behaviour approach across the school supports our learners to continue to grow, thrive, be happy and settled at school and for our staff to help them to achieve their personal best! We are so fortunate to have a stable and committed staff who provide high quality learning for all of our students.

Ongoing Communication

As partners in your child’s wellbeing and education we appreciate your communication, feedback and questions. You would have been notified of which social media platform your child’s class teacher will be using this year – Facebook or SeeSaw.

Teaching staff will let you know their preferred options for you to contact them directly and please be mindful that they will endeavour to respond to your query within 24-48 hours, depending on when the communication is sent to them.

Please follow the class protocols to communicate with the teacher or make a time to meet with them face to face on non-meeting nights between 3.10 – 3.30pm or by negotiation as needed.

We also regularly post whole school information on our private school Facebook page as well as known dates via our School Fridge Calendar sent home early each term!

All children are issued with a school diary which is used daily to communicate home learning activities and families are welcome to write notes in the diary as these are checked on a regular basis. We appreciate you supporting your child to take responsibility and to bring their diary to school each day.

Please feel free to catch/contact me for a chat if you have any questions or concerns about the overall running of our school. Looking forward to a productive and happy 2024!

Kind regards,

Ms Sally
