"Pizza My Heart"

On Thursday 22 August Mitcham Primary School experienced the magic of reading with our Book Week Celebration Day. As part of our celebrations we has the pleasure of being introduced to author and illustrator of Pizza My Heart, Geralyn ‘Gigi’ Anderson through her fun and colourful Author Talk. Following an animated reading of her book, Gigi discussed with students the inspirations behind her work, as well as the time and effort that it takes to create the wonderful books we read. Gigi had us leaving with smiles stretch from ear to ear as we giggled over her puns, and left with her images prompting much inspiration!
