Book Week

Wow! What an wonderful week we had celebrating Book Week at Mitcham Primary School! It was incredible to see the enthusiasm of our students as imagination bubbled magically throughout each year level.

We celebrated altogether at our morning parade, where students showed off their costumes, clapped for others and listened to peers share about their costumes and passions.

We saw creativity blossom throughout the tapestry of our very own Concrete Garden, with brightness bursting from the ground in a beautiful array of rainbow colours.

Additionally, we had many entries to the Writing and Colouring competitions with over 100 entries for both. We would like to congratulate all our students for their bravery entering the competitions and appluad their Love of Learning by challenging themselves when working on these contests. Well done to all students and in particular those who were selected as winners.

Thank you to all families who joined in the celebrations attending our parade and Publishing Parties where students could celebrate all their writing achievements! We look forward to continuing to strengthen our community bond to celebrate the wonderful work of our students.
