A message from our Principal

Dear St. Brendan's School Community,

Sacramental Masses

Recently children were involved in making their Sacraments of Confirmation and Eucharist. It was a very special weekend with Bishop Shane Mackinlay, Father Joe Taylor and Father Jackson Saunders in attendance. The children all looked so excited, and they will always remember this special day sharing with family and friends. Thanks to Mrs. Leanne Pellegrino for her organisation with the children and special thanks to Jessamy Doyle, Parish Sacramental Worker for her great work with all students and parents and her organisation. Beautiful photos taken by Leanne Pellegrino were shared on facebook.

Family Life Relationships

On Wednesday 28th August we held an evening for students and families in Year 5/6 which was extremely well attended. It is a requirement for all Victorian schools to address aspects of personal development within the curriculum provision. Colleen Hampson (Catholic Education Sandhurst) was the facilitator and gave an excellent presentation.

Thanks to all families and students who attended the informative evening. Thanks to Ted Lindon, Dom Poppa, Joel Brian and Leanne Pellegrino that attended the session.

Father’s Day celebrations

It was lovely to see so many fathers attend our Special Father’s Day assembly with Foundation/1 students praying and singing a beautiful song about Fathers. We had a great attendance of parents walking through our school for the Gallery Walk on Visual Art Display from all students. The artwork was wonderful and created lots of interest. Many thanks to all teachers for their work with the children. Special thanks to Leanne Pellegrino for supporting 3/4 students and Nicky Mamone for her great work with the 5/6 student.

Thanks also to the parents that attended the Celebration mass for the students who made their sacraments.

Athletics Day

This Friday is our athletics Day. This day is also a favourite with the students. Please refer to the flyer for times and information. A coffee van will be in attendance for adults only. All students only need to wear their black shorts and a color t shirt of the team they are representing. Thanks to Josh Wild for all the work he has put into this event. Looking forward to seeing many parents at the day. Weather is going to be warm so please ensure the children all have a drink bottle.
