Prayer: The Hail Mary
Hail, Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou amongst women and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death.
Amen.
Dear Families,
Today is the Feast of the Assumption and a small but enthusiastic group of us met this morning in our Church to say a decade of the Rosary together. Thank you Bernadette and Thu who led the group of students, some staff and a member of our Parish. It really was a lovely way to start our day and a great opportuity for anyone who may not be so familiar with the prayer to learn a little bit about its meaning and purpose and how it can be a wonderful way for people to pray together. Many, like myself, will remember praying the rosary every night with our families and the importance of this ritual in our daily lives. We are hoping that this might become a more regular practice for anyone who would like to join. You do not need to know all the words to the prayers or be Catholic to share this experience with others.
School Production: Calling all SuperHeroes
We are now definitely counting down the weeks to our School Production at the Hawthorn Arts Centre on Monday 16th September. Ms Stanton is holding rehearsals for all our lead roles and working with teachers to help practice the classroom items. For many of our students this is going to be an opportunity for them to really shine in an area of the school curriculum that they love. For all our children it is also an opportunity to step out of their comfort zone and try skills they may not be so used to exploring. Who knows there may even be a few staff members stepping out of their comfort zones on the night as well.
From Ms Sandra Stanton...
Tigers Come to Visit
A very big thankyou to the AFL and the Richmond Football Club who sent eight of their senior players to visit us at Trinity. There was a lot of excitement amongst the students and a number of very keen Tiger supporting staff. Our children had some great questions for the players and really enjoyed the interaction and hearing about what it is like to be an AFL football player.
School Enrolments 2025
I have recently sent out a GOOGLE FORM for all parents to let us know their intentions for 2025. If you only have a child in Year 6 this year who is of course leaving at the end of the year you do not have to complete the form. Thank you to the 73 parents who have already filled out the form as this will really help us in planning for class groups next year. I have included the link again below for those who have not yet completed the form.
There are many important events throughout the term so please keep an eye on the school calendar.
