It has been a delight having Sophie in our Foundation classroom. She is a very quiet, happy student who has really joined in with all school activities. Good luck with all your travels in the future.
This award goes to William for demonstrating his wonderful learning and listening in our Spelling lessons lately. You try very hard to spell words by listening to the sounds and trying out the codes. You even found the word ‘experience’ which has a silent final ‘e’ on the end! Great work William!
This award goes to Naira for the fantastic effort she has put into learning and applying our Write2Read spelling program. Naira is able to say most codes, and she is able to use the spelling rules she has learnt to explain why she has spelt a word a particular way. She looks for codes when reading difficult words and uses her reading toolbox to solve them.
This award goes to Kai for displaying the HEART value of Excellence this week. He has worked hard to write and illustrate his picture storybook. Kai has carefully thought about the layout of each page and has used illustrations to add meaning to his text. Keep up the great work, Kai!
