LITURGY NEWS
Yesterday some of our Year 3 students had the opportunity to attend Reconciliation. Next Wednesday more of our Year 3 students will have the opportunity to attend Reconciliation. We thank Fr Chris and Fr Saji for their time and spiritual guidance.
AN INVITATION TO BREAKFAST
Fr Chris invites you to join him and the men of St Nicholas Parish for breakfast in the covered outdoor area behind the Church. It will start promptly at 7am on Saturday, 31st August.
During this year between 20 and 35 men have gathered monthly. You are not asked to join anything, there is no official executive, just a couple of men who send out invitations, organise catering and put together a program that includes some prayer and reflection, some fun and nonsense, and plenty of time for chatting to men with the same values as yours.
Coming once doesn’t commit you to every month. It will finish by 8.15am so you can get to children’s sports, your golf or other weekend activities. There is no fee, just a donation to cover the cooked breakfast.

FAMILY MASSES
Our next Family Mass for this term will be held Sunday 22nd September (Yr 1 & Yr 5 families) at St Nicholas Church at 9.30a.m. After mass our St Nicholas Parish have organised a 'Parish Picnic' at the Miniature Trains which everyone is welcome to attend.
These Masses are an opportunity for our School community to come together with our Parish Community to celebrate and to share a ‘cuppa ‘and morning tea afterwards.
SACRAMENT OF CONFIRMATION
The Sacrament of Confirmation will take place the weekend of 7th/8th September. Parents of eligible candidates should have already received a Compass notification with all the relevant information. Parents are reminded that ALL RELEVANT PAPERWORK IS NOW OVERDUE. Please keep our Confirmation Candidates in your prayers.
FATHER'S DAY LITURGY & CELEBRATIONS
Father’s Day Liturgy –
There will be a Father’s Day Liturgy tomorrow Friday 30th August commencing at 9.15am in the Holy Family Courtyard. Prior to the Liturgy we will host a Father's Day breakfast from 7.30am. We warmly welcome our Dads, Granddads, Pops and families to join us for this celebration.
