Reading is Magic

Book Week is fast approaching in Week 6. 

This year's theme is Reading Is Magic. 

We will be having an interactive book telling session on the Thursday and Friday for students. 

During assembly we have our ‘Read In’ where students and teachers bring a book that we have been reading and read we read altogether. Then we have a mini parade at the end of the assembly. 

We are delighted to invite Read by Renee back to Dana Street for Book Week this year.  Renee will be bringing stories to life for our students to enjoy and to capture their imagination.  The junior school will be involved in an interactive storytelling of the Wizard of Oz and the senior school will be participating in The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe themed scavenger hunt.  The sessions will involve props, activities and lots of fun!
